2009 CABERNET SAUVIGNON
CLARK-CLAUDON VINEYARD
NAPA VALLEY

The Clark-Claudon Vineyard is owned by Tom Clark and wife, Laurie Claudon. This 18 acre vineyard is located on Howell Mountain between 800-1,000 feet. Its shallow, mountain soils, cool evening breezes and excellent sun exposure are ideal for a low yield of intense Cabernet. A beautiful, sustainably farmed vineyard, nestled in their 154 acres of forested woodland.

My Notes:

Intense dark ruby color. Nose of dark mountain fruit with hints of vanilla. Rich, intense concentrated flavors with hints of chocolate and dark berry. Soft oak and full, firm tannins. Long, lingering, lush finish. 323 cases produced. Intense, dark ruby color. Nose of dark, mountain fruit with hints of vanilla.
